Aim High! – Forbush Friends Men’s Ministry

Paul closed his second letter to the Christians at Corinth with these words... ”Aim for perfection, listen to my appeal, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you….” 2 Corinthians 13:10-12   “Aim at perfection” is a pretty tall order! However, if we are not aiming at becoming all that Christ wants for us, then at what are we aiming? Henry David Theoreau said, “In the long run, men only hit what they aim at.”  At Forbush Friends we are aiming at becoming the men of God Jesus wants us to be. Aim High! is  a new Men's Ministry at Forbush Friends!  A ministry for every generation. What is Aim High you ask...? A little bit of Marksmanship, a little bit of Discipleship, and a whole lot of fellowship.  After a time to reflect upon the scriptures and some serious eating, Skeet shooting has been our main activity. In the future, we are planning be other marksmanship related activities and mission projects. Right now we have been scheduling Aim High on various Saturday mornings.  There will be challenges for folks at every level, with our main focus being on fellowship, safety and fun. The ministry has been so successful that we were featured on WXII.  Everyone is having an incredible time, and we want YOU to join us.
